Welcome to Little Hill Homestead where the chickens are chatty, we love to keep it real, the food never quite make it to the table before being “taste-tested,” and the kitchen always smells like something good.

We’re a small (but mighty!) 1.7 acre homestead tucked away in a neighborhood in middle Georgia, learning to live simply, cook seasonally, and grow a little more of our own food every day. From garden dirt to cast iron skillet, we’re all about making the most of what we have—one tomato, bread loaf, or backyard project at a time. 

This blog is our place to share real-life recipes (yes, the messy, unfiltered kind), garden tips that actually work in the Southern heat, and a peek into our ever-growing adventures in homesteading. Think of it as our virtual front porch—pull up a chair and stay a while!

We also share our day-to-day life and how-to videos over on our YouTube channel—so if you like watching chickens chase bugs, or want to see what’s cooking on our vintage stove Pearl, come say hi!
